WHAT INSIDE THE BOX, AND HOW DO YOU SOURCE THE LOVELY THINGS?
It’s a dream job – we search high and low to bring you much loved brands and discover the hidden gems. We source from all around the globe to bring you delightful treasures and love working with small businesses that are passionate about their products – because they are amazing. Each month our boxes are a carefully curated variety of treats allowing you permission to indulge.
Part of the joy of Society of Lovely is the element of surprise, which is why we don’t disclose the contents of the box in advance. We do however, work very hard to ensure we are creating truly unique boxes with coveted gifts. To discover what you can look forward to, please see our Legacy of Lovely page to view past boxes.
We are all about lovely, and do not adopt a discount subscription approach. We selectively choose our suppliers, and therefor Society of Lovely is not a marketing exercise. You won’t find discount cards or coupons, it’s just not our style.
Can I choose what is in the box?
Monthly surprises and discovery are an important aspect of Society of Lovely subscriptions. We work hard to bring you gorgeous things that we love, and we are sure you will too. However, we can’t guarantee you are going to love every single thing, and of course, we want our customers to be delighted.
Part of being part of the Society is the opportunity to shape how we evolve the experience. Please provide feedback about the products that you don’t love so much, and we will use this continue to make things even better.
And what if there is something I don’t like/am allergic to?
Ahhhhhh, brilliant. (Sort of!) While we cannot switch products or cater for dietary restrictions, in the small chance you receive something unsuitable, consider passing it on to a favourite person #randomactsoflovely
WHEN WILL I GET MY GORGEOUSNESS IN A BOX?
If you order on or before the 10th of each month, you will get your box of lovely on or around the 20th of that month. Order after the 10th, and you will get your delivery on or around the 20th of the following month.
OH NO! SOMETHING IS WRONG… HOW DO I GET HELP?
We package every box ourselves and take great care. Each Society of Lovely box will be packed inside a sturdy, eco-friendly, NZ produced box, and filled with eco tissue and wood shaving(?) to protect your gorgeous things. However, we know that sometimes things do go wrong.
If a parcel does not arrive, please let us know within 10 days. We will work with our courier partners to investigate and arrange to put things right. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Similarly, if a parcel arrives with damaged products, please let us know within 5 days via email@example.com. Please keep the packaging to help us discover what went wrong.
HOW DO I SHARE THE LOVELY?
So many ways!
Share lovely – we love it when you love us! If you refer Society of Lovely with a friend and they subscribe, both you and your friend will receive a beautiful wee gift. Simply pop your name in the comments section of the order, and we will get some loveliness straight to your post box.
Get #lovely – social media is all the rage! Who knew? We’d love to see how you are using your gorgeous things, tag #SOlovelyNZ and be in to win.
Gift lovely – so good! If you gift a subscription to someone amazing, we will happily hand-write a note from you in the first delivery.
Need it in advance – all good! Let us know and we will send you a gift certificate to present to your lucky recipient.
Cutting it a bit fine? Don’t worry we’ve got you. And email. We’ll sort you an electronic gift certificate.
I NEED TO CHANGE, PAUSE OR CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION.
HOW CAN I DO THIS?
Changes to your subscription? No problem!
You can move between the different levels of indulgence before the 10th of each month by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
New credit card? Easy! You can update your payment details by emailing us.
Pause - we've got you. Just drop us an email.
Sadly, I need to cancel:
For our subscription customers simply email us at email@example.com before the 10th of the month. We have no minimum contract, so you can do this at any time before your regular payment is taken.
If you would prefer a fixed term period for the subscription, you can sign up for a 3, 6 or 12 month plan, and these will not auto-renew.
If you are on a fixed plan, there is no need to cancel! Because your subscription is paid upfront, you will not be charged again without your permission.
However… we do know that many of you will want to continue to receive your box of gorgeousness. Because of the nature of subscription businesses, our boxes to sell out. To avoid this, you will be invited to re-subscribe a month prior to your anniversary of your sign up, or gift date.
If you don’t want to continue, we will be very sorry to see you go, and we thank you for being part of the Society. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience, so if there is any feedback you think would help us do that, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the unlikely scenario where you sign up for a 3, 6 or 12-month subscription and you are unsatisfied with your first box, you have 10 days to let us know. We will refund the total amount minus the cost of one full priced box, and a $25 administration fee.
