What makes you most proud about Summer Salt Body?
Summer Salt Body started out as a passion and something I never dreamed would turn into my full time job. I began making and selling Salt Scrubs at local markets and within just a couple of weeks I had stores interested in stocking the products which blew me away! It's almost my 5th year in business and I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible companies, meet inspiring people and do what I love every single day. I receive such beautiful feedback from my customers all the time. This is what I'm proud of! :)
At SoL, we’re all about gorgeous things for amazing women. What’s your favourite “thing” and does it come with a story?
My favourite thing would have to be a little pouch that I have filled with different rocks that I have found on my travels. We travelled through the middle of Australia and down the coast a couple of years ago and discovered little spots where you can find sapphires, opals and rubies. They're so natural and beautiful in their rough state. If I ever find a beautiful stone I keep it and add it to my little collection. Each one has a unique story and holds a special memory.
We love giving women permission to indulge. How would you spend an ultimate day of indulgence?
This changes for me all the time depending on what sort of mood I'm in. Right now I would love to soak away the day in a bath filled with our Coconut Bath Milk, surrounded by crystals and candles, sipping on some herbal tea and wearing a face mask. Bliss.
Who would you give a random act of lovely to and why?
My mum! My mum is an incredible woman. She does so much for me and my two little ones. She not only helps me with my kids but she also works for me part time and does an amazing job! I've never met a harder worker in my life. I often give her random acts of lovely to thank her for everything she does and remind her that we appreciate and love her so much! Random acts of lovely are the best. It means so much more than a gift on a birthday or Christmas. They're our favourite type of gifts!
